- New - Genetically Modified Mouse Database
Thanks to the efforts of two Society members, Drs Robb de Iongh and Heather Young, a database of available genetically modified mouse lines held by Society members has been compiled and made available. This represents a "work in progress". If you have additional mouse lines that you would like to make available to others, please contact the Society (cellbiol@adelaide.edu.au) with the relevant information.
- Alpha Yap takes over reigns as Society President!
Professor Alpha Yap (Head of Cadherin cell adhesion molecules, Epithelial morphogenesis & Cell locomotion Laboratory at the IMB) took the helm of the Society at the recent annual ComBio2005 meeting. The Society wishes to extend its gratitude to Dr Graham Lieschke (Head of the Cytokine Biology Laboratory at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research) as outgoing President for his outstanding management of the Society for the past two years. We wish Alpha all the best for the term ahead.
