The department of Cancer Genetics and Biology is seeking to recruit a new
group leader. Applications from young scientists willing to start their independent group is particularly welcomed.
We are looking for outstanding candidates who will complement the existing strength of this department in either direct investigation of human tumours or use of models that help to understand the mechanisms of cancer development (further information is available
here).
The
Institut Curie offers a unique scientific environment including internationally recognized departments in immunology, cell biology, genetics, biophysics and chemistry as well as a dedicated cancer hospital. It gives access to state-of-the-art core facilities (next generation sequencing, genomics, microscopy, mass spectrometry, animal facility, automated-imaging cell-based screening facility,…) as well as a large clinical data bases and sample collections.
The Institut Curie benefits from an attractive location in Paris downtown, in close vicinity to other major Parisian research centres. An initial support package will be provided but potential research group leaders should meet the criteria to compete for grant funding and French institution position (CNRS, INSERM, University).
