Getting to Adelaide from the Airport:

Taxi

Taxis and Uber operate from Adelaide Airport. There is a designated taxi rank located at the left of the pedestrian plaza as you leave the terminal building. Fares are approximately $25.00 to/from central Adelaide and the journey takes around 10 – 15 minutes depending upon the time of day that you are travelling. Concierges provide a safe environment and allocate taxis to passengers. They can also organise taxis with wheelchair access, five-seaters and maxi taxis for larger groups or station wagons for large amounts of baggage. There is a $3 levy added to fares for taxis leaving the airport.

There is a designated rideshare pickup location for Uber users, which is signposted.

Adelaide Metro Bus

If you wish to use public transport to/ from Adelaide Airport, Adelaide Metro offers an express double decker bus service called JetExpress between the airport and the city.

JetExpress is a Metroticket service. Single trip and daytrip tickets can be purchased from bus drivers.

City Shuttle Bus

The airport City Shuttle offers a door to door service from the Adelaide Airport to the hotels in Adelaide.

Bookings are not needed. On arrival please make your way to the Information and Tourism Bookings Booth located on the ground floor of the terminal. The staff will help you with your booking and inform you of the next shuttle time (approximately every half hour).

City Shuttle Bus operating hours are as follows:
Monday to Friday from 8 am – 9 pm.
Saturdays from 8 am – 6 pm.
Sundays from 8 am – 5 pm.

Rental Car

Hiring a rental car at Adelaide Airport gives you the freedom to explore Adelaide and its environs. Car rental desks are located on the ground level of the terminal adjacent to the baggage claim area.

No car parking facilities are available at the conference venue. However, nearby public car parking options are:

Reaching the Conference Venue by the Free City Tram

The free city tram takes you between the South Terrace tram stop, the Entertainment Centre, Botanic Gardens and Festival Plaza, servicing the City West Campus. The free city tram will also take you to the Royal Adelaide Hospital at the west end of North Terrace. Trams run every 7-10 minutes
